Printmaker Lesley Harry lives and works in Falmouth where she has a long association with both the John Howard Print Studios, Penryn, and the Royal Cornwall Polytechnic Society (The Poly). She is also an associate of the Penwith Gallery, St Ives. Her work is exhibited widely and explores what she terms edges in the landscape and the juxtaposition of static and moving forms. Her hand-pulled screen-prints are bold, joyful experiments in colour combinations based upon algae, ferns, seeds and lichen that abound in Cornwall. “Treebird evokes both flight and freedom. Only a safe bird sings purely.” https://www.lesleyharry.info/
